Who qualifies to be an instructor?
– We don’t have strict age requirements. As long as you’re an enthusiast with a few years of driving under your belt, you’re a candidate.
Are there female instructors?
– YES! As a matter of fact, we have a few and we’re looking for more.
What are the exercises involved?
– We don’t have strict age requirements. As long as you’re an enthusiast with a few years of driving under your belt, you’re a candidate.
Is performance driving experience required?
– While it is helpful, we do not require racing or high-performance driving experience. The curriculum is not highly technical, and we provide the training.
Do instructors get motion sickness?
– Motion sickness is rare; some instructors benefit from using over-the-counter motion sickness relief.
Do instructors have to attend every event?
– We like the commitment, but no. Our goal is to have pool of instructors large enough for people to serve as they can.
Do instructors get paid?
– Nope. It’s all volunteers. The payoff is the smiles you see on your students’ faces… and on yours.
Are other volunteer positions available?
– Yes! We appreciate help with registration, setting up cones and other functions.
