It isn’t every day that multiple chapters of the BMWCCA get an opportunity to meet each other. Take this opportunity to change that! We have a full weekend planned with social events that allow you to get to know people you’ve probably never met before as well as see historical elements of Old Route 66.

Friday, 7/16

We will arrive in Lincoln, IL for dinner followed by socialization back at the hotel. Our accommodations will be In Lincoln, just a few minutes from Atlanta. The deal with the hotel is still a work in progress. More information will be available soon.

Saturday, 7/17

We begin our day by driving to Atlanta where they will have shut down the main drag for us to hold a cars and coffee style event where we can kick tires and have a pastry breakfast. Then, we’ll see a couple museums followed by a catered lunch in the Union Hall Ballroom. After lunch, there will be a guided walking tour of Atlanta, then a photo op on an old section of Route 66. We end our day with dinner then socialization back at the hotel.

Sunday, 7/18

Our Sunday is focused around the Illini chapter’s “Wine N Shine” event at Mackinaw Valley Winery. Once we’re done showing our cars, we’ll each head home.

Cost is TBD and will be announced to those with tickets once information is available. The hotel will not cost more than $90/night, and food should be quite affordable.
