That would be the hockey pucks that are always falling out on my car! I have stopped buying them and now just use some scrap wood. I have a ton of leftover ChoiceWood or TREX (composite wood) from my deck and I use that.

I am not sure you want to lift from the diff. I use the subframe that wraps under the diff.

E46's have rectangular instead of round pucks, but I think they are donated to the highway department at about the same rate as the E36 round ones.
